How You Can Pray

I just wanted to do a quick blog post with a few prayer requests. Here they are not in any particular order.
Test. David takes his paramedic test tomorrow to recertify his paramedic license for the next two years. He's been studying for months to prepare but it would be nice to have a few prayers on that.
Elections. Haiti has presidential elections coming up soon. It is the first round with another round in December. Please pray for Haiti and its future leaders. Please pray that it can be peaceful and the new leader will seek to follow God. Also pray for the American elections as they come up. It's interesting to see how things might change!
Kids sleeping. As in our life in general, kids sleeping habits are a little bit of a challenge. On furlough in other in another house and going and doing a lot of extra things that are not routine, makes sleeping a little more challenging. Some nights we feel like we play whack-a-mole. One kid down the other one up, that one down the other one up. This gets really hard and doesn't help our family life when everyone is over tired.
Our furlough. Please pray that our time here in the states can be relaxing and rejuvenating, but also that we can use our time wisely.
The hospital. Please continue to pray for the hospital as it continues its daily operations. Please pray for the people who come to seek healing, the people who work there, and all the friends we've left behind for the month. Please pray for the coming auction in November that it will help raise needed funds, payroll, and supplies for the coming year.
Language. Please pray for us and our language as we are out of the Creole speaking mode for the month. Please pray that we can continue to learn while we are away and that our language skills don't regress while we're away.

Thanks much to everyone for their prayers for us!
